Health and Safety

It is the intention of Pasta Flag Catering Ltd. to provide healthy, safe and congenial working conditions for all its employees. In addition it is the policy of the company to safeguard in every possible way the health and safety and well being at work of its employees and endeavour to conduct it's business in such a way that clients, customers and members of the public are not exposed to risk to their health and safety. The Health and Safety legislation imposes obligations on all employees to take reasonable care for health and safety of themselves and any other persons that may be affected by their acts or omissions of work.

It is for these reasons that all Pasta Flag staff receive:

• Basic Food Hygiene training
• Advanced Hygiene Consultancy (Mr P. Rolls HCM, AFH)
• Health and Safety Consultancy on existing and new policy (Mr M. Butler EHO, CIEH, HACCAP)

All Pasta Flag equipment undergoes the following rigorous testing:

• All electrical equipment tested to BS7671 BS7909
• All Fire Extinguishers / Blankets serviced bi-annually
• All staff issued with company Healthy and Safety Policy
• General Risk Assessment carried out for every job
• COSHH adhered to in all aspects of cleaning using chemical cleaning agents
